Improving performance of Mail For Exchange

Nokia E71 business mobile comes with very promising performance and along with messaging client which allows to configure multiple mailbox with IMAP and SMTP protocols. For connecting to MS exchange server it uses Nokia Mfe(mail for exchange) client 3rd edition 2.9.158(1.82MB) version which is again having promising feature though there is no support of HTML view of email.


Most of the people found when they press the default email button exchange mailbox will get loaded with s little delay .hear is two step simple trick that will tune the performance of MfE.

1) Go the main menu - > office -> file Mgr

2) Select the storage device (memory card/Phone) based on Mfe default installation.
3) Search and open the folder for MailForExchange.

4) Delete all the log files under this folder (admin-log1.txt..etc)



Come out and press the email button and check the performance.keep doing this activity if email usages are more and log file is more in size.....


Note: Tuning of mobile is based on the many parameters however above article will help to fine tune speed of your E71 with mail for Exchange...
