Nokia Mail For Exchange(MfE) with HTML

Long awaited feature of HTML support is finally arrived with new version of Nokia mail for exchange (MfE) 3.00.050 Nokia users waited so long to see HTML email in their handset with MfE. Many features has been bundled in this release and many fixes also has been delivered since last release.
Lets start & see finally what we have got after so much of waiting !!!!!!!

After installation on first run you can feel the improved speed of the new version. New feature display the all the inbox items including sent emails, junk email and RSS feed it gives complete inbox .scrolling of emails is faster than earlier.

Nokia has not rewritten entire functionality for displaying HTML content rather make HTML view optional and left to user choice so that necessary emails only can be viewed in the HTML format text display is more faster than earlier versions.

once we hit to open email it will display in text format same email can be viewed in HTML format by selecting option ->show as HTML

one impressive thing i noticed is that ,it will load entire email with all the images compare to heavy weight Road sync version which first download images as an attachment and then you can view the page. Full HTML page scrolling is also mcuh faster compare to othere exchange client.

Access Point Groups/Destinations allows to select the connection switing between Wifi and other access sources.

At the time of new installation Calendar, Contacts, Tasks are disabled by default to preventing any data lose during installation process.

Though MfE was light weight client however it was lacking essential feature of messaging which is successfully incorporated in this release bring Nokia mail for exchange back in the business ,conclusion of first review finds new feature(HTML support) is and promising feature with its lightweight performance ..all we can say is “better late than never” .

an Advisor in Nokia Forum replied that only ActiveSync for Exchange 2007 and later support HTML view. Which might explain why it doesn't work on mine.
