Horoscope Compatibility... How Much Convincing ?

Related Posts with ThumbnailsI am sure most of you would have at least once read the forwarded mail which talks about the kind of person you are, based on your birth date. So that made me think of the topic which i am writing on.

When i forwarded that mail to my friends', almost all replied back saying that most of the things written is true about them. So that gave me food for thought. I wished that people who talk so much about caste, creed, upper class, lower class, minorities ,majority and being closest to god, should read that mail and come beck saying that it matched for them too. So now what i want to ask is when people are driven primarily by the traits of their birth date then what is this caste fuss about. I do know that being of the same caste does makes life a lot more easy to adjust with each other as a couple but this trend is soon changing and its high time that people should realize that the real traits are those which is god gifted and not which is human inculcated.

Female infanticide : A Bitter Indian Reality

The other day I was reading a newspaper which said that the government would be stricter to people who are involved in killing female fetus and that a case of murder would be registered against them.

This topic has always disturbed me as I have always been biased towards birth of a female child. I can understand that the practice of killing female fetus is prevalent in rural India but the above report spoke about urban India, predominantly being part of it. I was surprised to read it because the urban India is really developing briskly and such mentality to exist in it is hard to believe.

By Choice or By Nature

In our day to day life we come across many types of people. We mostly jell with people whose frequency matches with ours. Frequency matching is nothing else but we share something in common. Maybe the same home town, same college, same food habits, same thinking patterns etc etc.

But with people whom we initially interact but later realize that those are not “our type” people we start ignoring or sidelining them. Maybe coz somewhere we feel that their opinions contradict ours or we dislike some of their habits or maybe their attitudes towards other people.

This is very easy when it comes to relations with friends or any acquaintances but it becomes really difficult when it’s with relatives, cousins, neighbors or colleagues, or in laws. Coz these are the people whom you meet quite often. As a result we often hear people saying that we don’t like his/her nature, he’s short tempered, too egoistic, very professional, self centered so on and so forth. But lately what I have realized is there is one important thing which makes a person behave in a particular manner and that is its “upbringing”.

Young Age Problems

Unfortunately we all get only one change to grow through different phases of life starting from childhood to old age, each phase has its own things to enjoy and comes up with challenges.
Among all the phases of life we always like to be in young age and always cherish its memories. We often refer “when I was young” or “In my young days” however many of us definitely agree with me that “young” is a relative word and we can be young as long as we want to be. According to patents they face more friction from their kids when they are stepping in to young age .Parents become more conscious about their kids and whatever they do ,they think freedom is their enemy and they are not mature enough to take their own decisions. Young age problems are also influenced by countries and their cultures it may not be the same everywhere.

Stress : This is not limited to specific age group however we start feeling it in young age. In young age we takes stress of almost everything and it usually it grows with age until we learn to control and get rid of it. According to one of British medical journal average suicide rate is 14.5 out of 100000 in 15-19 age group because of extreme stress . Sudden death because of stress is also common problem in young generation.

Indian Tea Party

I remember in junior school my science teacher taught us that tea contain “nicotine” and its not good for health ,being an obedient student I stick to my teacher’s advice. Now It’s been more than 20 years and sometimes I wonder how can someone stick to an advice for such a long time however I don’t have any control on my family who consumes nicotine at least three time a day ,though I am banished from that daily ritual, but still i enjoy rest of the snacks .

No wonder why tea consumption is more in Indian when we see tea statistics. India gives highest percentage of share (more than 30%) in producing tea in
entire world and still dominating world tea market over last 150 year. We  have around more than thousand tea brand available in India.
Tea culture is around us since the time of Ramayana we can find many references in epic scripts . India is having very rich social culture and we all have seen growing it on every tea party or party with tea. Now tea party is become part of our culture and people do the rituals of social gathering at least twice a day with their friends or family. It is hard to find people who can think of the starting day without sharing tea with friends or family.
